Log Book from July

New Quay1 - 2 August - Waiting for the wind in Swansea.

3 August - Racing down the Gower coastline with wind and tide.

4 August - A long trip around to Neyland in Milford Haven.

5 - 6 August - visiting Neyland Yacht Club and planning the next stretch.

7 August - A Fast passage to Fishguard and then an afternoon of practice in advanced engineering!

8 August - Waiting for the tail end of a hurricane to blow over Fishguard.

9 August - Slow progress to New Quay.

10 August - A long but pleasant sail to Aberystwyth.

Snowdon11 -12 August - Two days resting in Aberystwyth waiting for an opportunity to head north.

13 August - A sunny day with good prospects of sailing all the way to Pwllheli.

14 August - Climbing Snowdon.

15 August - Wondering around in the Mountains south of Snowdon.

16 August - Resting in Pwllheli getting ready to head north.

17 - 18 August - Stuck in Pwllheli while the storm passes.

19 - 23 August - Still in Pwllheli but took advantage of this by climbing Crib Goch at the weekend.

23 - 24 August - We made use of a 24 hour weather window to sail overnight to Holyhead.

25 - 26 August - Some days off in Holyhead, trying to find something to do!

Lake District27 August - A fast passage to the Isle of Man with great views of the Calf of Man.

28 August - Another quick turn around at Douglas and a race against the weather downwind straight for Whitehaven.

29 - 30 August - Scarfell Pike on a clear day with 360 degree views over the Lake District.

31 August - 1 September - Two days exploring Derwent Water and then Ennerdale.
