23 July - Left Penzance in late afternoon on route for St Marys, no wind but perfect sun bathing weather!

24 - 26 July - Lazing around on the Isles of Scilly.

27 - 28 July - Set off from St Marys on course for St Ives, a long motor again but plenty to keep us busy (including a badly positioned fishing net).

29 July - Wind at last to get me to Padstow. 30 July - A fowl tide and 9 hours of motoring but we made it to Ilfracombe.

31 July - Our major Channel Crossing - well Ilfracombe to Swansea anyway!
