Log Book - November

Log Book from October

November - At last we are on our way again. However, it was a long motor in little winds down the coast to Amble.

- 8 November - A nice afternoon reaching down to North Shields on the Tyne.  Hartlepool

November - A short afternoon hop down to Hartlepool Marine.

- 13 November - A stop off in Hartlepool waiting for Dad to come up from Cornwall.

November - One fast afternoon run down to Whitby, recording a top speed of just short of ten knots.

November - After a later than planned start we made the stretch down to Bridlington.

November - A well paced trip from Bridlington to Grimsby across the shipping lanes of the Humber.

- 19 November - A few days in Grimsby waiting for the next gap in the weather. Including a small mishap with the liferaft.

Norfolk20 - 21 November - The longest passage of the trip so far. Leaving Grimsby and traveling overnight to Lowestoft.

- 25 November - A few days forced stop in Lowestoft while we wait for our liferaft to be serviced and plan our passage across the Thames.

- 28 November - A "stop-start" race across the Thames down to Dover.

November - Things were going so well we ended up in Brighton.

November - A good start and then a slow finish into the familiar surroundings of the Solent.
