Log Book - September

Log Book from August

September - An early morning start and a fast becoming, very very slow trip to Port William.

Scarba3 September - A day spent with "The Times" crossword in one very smelly harbour, with my first crew member!

September - We finally gave up on the crosswords and made a late trip into Portpatrick - but never trust Policemen!

September - The fog has come down and we are stuck in Portpatrick for the day.

September - A long hard day beating into a force 5 but we finally made it into Troon in the early hours.

- 8 September - One day off in Troon, which became two when the gas stopped working.

September - A on-off day with the wind all over the place, but incredible views.

- 14 September - A fast passage (if expensive) through the Crinan Canal with four days of waiting out force 9 winds.

September - A race up to Fort William to beat the next weather system. Again with some great views of the Scottish mountains. Ben Nevis

- 20 September - Sitting out the rain and wind just outside Fort William on the Caledonian Canal.

September - On top of the world! Well on top of Ben Nevis anyway.

- 23 September - Racing down the Caledonian Canal to Inverness to catch the train.

- 30 September - A few days off in the south to attend a friends wedding before returning to Inverness.
